Indian Army is the best option for the students who are searching for the job in defence sector. The most popular Indian Army career is after 12th class. After 12th you can compete for the National Defence Academy which is the best academy in the country.

Join Indian Army after 12th  Class

After completion of 12th class exam, you can fill the online application of the NDA which is available on the UPSC website. You can check the schedule for Indian Army Bharti.

If you clear the written test, then you will be called for the SSB Interview. It is a 5 days long examination process which includes so many other tests like physical and mental tests.

Then after, candidates will be called for the SSB Interview. After that you will be send for the Medical test which takes up to 3 days.

After you will clear the medical test, you have to wait for the display of merit list. This list will shortlist the 350 candidates for the new list. So this merit list is a little bit difficult to place your name in that.

If you are one of the 350 candidates who will get the place in the merit list, then you can join NDA Khadagwasla (Pune ). Here you will be provided a 3 year course of various military trainings with a graduation degree.

NDA is the only Institution in the world, where the cadets of Indian Army , Indian Navy and Indian Airforce are trained regularly. After this students will be send to the IMA Dehradun (Indian Military Dehradun) and the other cadets to the respected academies.

After the whole training is completed, a tough military training is done for all the cadets. After the successful completion of the training you will become a commissioned officer in Indian army or Indian navy or Indian airforce.
